Rates for individual and group camping are based on a total of one camping unit, 5 people (2 adults and 3 children), 1 pet, and one vehicle per site. Parking is limited, so please let us know if you have additional needs such as a boat. Additional vehicles are $10 per day, and all visitors must register at the store.
Per Wisconsin Legislature ATCP 79.11(5)a “Each campsite is limited to 6 campers or an individual family.”
No, we do not allow tent camping at our campground. Due to the historic nature of our property, many of our underground utilities are located close to the surface, making it unsafe to accommodate tent stakes. In addition, current state lodging requirements mandate that campsites without bathroom facilities must be located within 400 feet of a restroom, which significantly limits where tents could be placed.
Because of these factors, we are unable to offer tent camping. However, we do have affordable sleeping cabins available that provide a simple and comfortable alternative.
Check out our camp store as we do carry a small supply of items but if we do not have what you need, there are stores in both Shawano and Wittenberg.
Per DNR rules, you can use an electric trolling motor on the north side of the bridge. You can use smaller boats (i.e. canoes, kayaks, paddleboats) on the south side of the bridge which is the same side the campground is located.
No, we do not. The closest laundromat is in Wittenberg which is approximately 15-minutes west of the campground.

Guest safety is very important to us. However, due to the historic nature of our buildings, we do not have a designated storm shelter or structure that can be considered a safe house during severe weather events.
In the event of severe weather, we recommend that guests monitor local weather alerts and plan accordingly. If conditions warrant seeking shelter, guests should use their best judgment and consider relocating to a nearby public facility or designated storm shelter in the surrounding area.
WIFI is very limited and is only accessible (at times) in the camp store. Due to our location and our internet provider, the service is very poor with only have a certain amount of bandwidth.
